HİDROLİFT sends design of each cylinder ordered and its all sub-details of design to its customers free of charge in order to fulfill customer satisfaction.
Projects design works of which are completed are submitted to approval of the customer before production and production works commence after approval.
‘Design Department' that works as a sub-unit of ‘Engineering Department' is fully equipped both in terms of staff and software and mainly INVENTOR and Unigraphix software are used in its works.
Communication with customers can be established in English, French, German and Dutch languages.
Machining
When Hidrolift Machinery list is reviewed production capacity and machining capability can be easily spotted. Both capacity and new machinery in line with technology are among the most important invisible assets of Hidrolift together with its trained manpower in its balance sheets. When our measuring capability is added to these very important items, three steps that constitute the basis for producing quality finished products are completed.
Welding
MIG-MAG and Shielded and electrode welding are applied. When necessary welding method tests (PQR) and welding process specifications according to these tests are developed and processes are carried out according to these documents. All references are documented according to EN 287-1 standard. Hidrolift wielding house is certified by German Loyd Germanischer Lloyd. All certifications and their contents can be seen in documents and certificates section.
Sensitive surface treatment
Hidrolift can not only provide materials such as honed tube, chrome plated rod as finished products from world markets but also can undertake production of these products and sensitive surface treatment processes within its body.
When present machinery list is reviewed capacity and machinery for these processes can be easily seen.
Hidrolift can achieve outputs over sector standards when process domination and machinery power is combined.
Barrel inner diameters up to 1000mm and surface roughness values between Ra 0,05-0,3 Rt 1-2,5 intervals can be realized.
Quality control
Products are examined and tested in the input, processing, pre assembly, shipment and post assembly and pre-shipment and obtained results are recorded. Following measurement, analysis and test methods are used in Hidrolift.
1. Dimensional measurements

Assembly
All cylinder parts production of which is successfully completed are assembled by experienced and trained personnel of Hidrolift. In case the assembly is made by untrained personnel it is possible to face the risk of all efforts till then to go down the drain arises.
Points to be taken into consideration during assembly are given as articles below.
1. All parts produced should be deburring. The most important sections that should not be skipped at this point are oil intake holes. Seals mounted on pistons should pass through oil intake holes during assembly. In case cavity of holes is not adequately rounded seal rings are damaged during passing and lose their functions.
2. Cylinder parts cannot be cleaned by materials such as clothes due to their geometry. Screw thread ends, channels and small holes cannot be re oil and cleaned from its metal powders. Therefore the most suitable cleaning method is to clean with proper solutions in a closed under compression.
3. The section reserved for cylinder assembly should be a sterile environment away from production area.
4. No sharp metals such as screwdriver or knife should be used during assembly of cylinder seals or bearing materials.
5. Seals should not be heated to stretch them during mounting to their places. This directly affects the life of seals. However if the environment temperature is very low they can be kept under warm air for a while.
6. Seals should be lubricated diddly to work easily with other materials in connection after seated. The lubricant used should be system lubricant and in case anther type of lubricant is used this should not damage the characteristics of seals.
7. O-rings used as static seals should not be turned in-place or twisted during assembly.
8. Proper torque values should be taken into consideration while tightening connectors and should be torqued by torque wrench.
Test:
No matter how precise the cylinder is mounted the basic design performance of the cylinder should certainly be measured after assembly (For information on performance it is necessary to perform life-cycle tests. They are considered as an activity to validate design in the quality statement, the expression can be changed in this regard). Therefore every cylinder assembled should be 100% tested.
These tests can be grouped as follows:
1. Pressure test
2. Inner leakage test
3. Life test
Pressure and inner leakage tests should be performed 100% in all periods and life test should be performed on samples.
Preliminary defects can be identified by pressure and inner leakage tests. These enable to collect data on:
- Whether seals are damaged or not during assembly,
- Whether there is inner leakage in the cylinder or not.
- Whether axial defect in the cylinder or not.
- Whether the cylinder is overheated or not,
- Whether barrel or connectors are damaged under test pressure or not,
- Whether strength calculations and mechanical connections can bear loads securely or not due to mechanical slog of the cylinder,
- Whether the operating stroke of the cylinder is correct or not,
- Whether the cushioning mechanism functions properly or not if the cylinder has cushioning.
Life tests give the answer to whether all cylinder components have the required operating life or not.
Hidrolift performs zirconium phosphatization preliminary surfacing, lining, finishing coating, drying and firing on cylinders up to 500kg and 2m in its dye facility according to quality characteristics specified in S002 Hidrolift specification.
Hidrolift has developed packing standards that enable delivery of products to customers without any decrease in the quality characteristics of the products and to be stored under storage conditions at customers' or suppliers' place when necessary. Packing complies with local and international regulation terms (ISPM 15).
Basic Principles
Product package should meet the following conditions in general terms. Conditions on packing are determined by work order files and product specifications.
- It should allow the product to be conveyed without any loss or reduction in its properties.
- When necessary it should be enduring to storage conditions at customer's place or at sales points.
- It should comply with customer's terms or national or international regulations.
- Packing material used should not be hazardous to human, animal health and to environment.
